WHOS WHO IN THE CAST
TYLER BAXTER (Beggar) graduated from Auburn University with a BFA Music Theatre degree. He has been performing professionally for the past four years. This production marks his debut with the Nebraska Theatre Caravan. This is his second time touring after completing Springer Theatricals' national tour of Route 66 earlier this year. Most recently, Tyler was in The Wizard of Oz at the historic Roxy Regional Theatre in Tennessee. Favorite reginaly credits include: Disney's The Little Mermaid as Flotsam, A Chorus Line as Bobby Mills, She Loves Me as Kodaly, and Cabaret as The Emcee. When Tyler is not performing he enjoys going to the beach and cooking gourmet cuisine in his tometown, Pensecola, FL. Happy Holiday!
ALEX BAYLARD (Peter Cratchit/Ebby) graduated from Missouri State University in 2016 with a BFA in Musical Theatre. This his his first year with the Nebraska Theatre Caravan. Alex has been seen in The Resident Theatre Company's Cabaret Broadway in the Borough, has appeared as Sonny Malone in Springfield Contemporary Theatre's Production of Xanadue, Boland in Coger Theatre's Production of Dog Fight, and Romeo in Coger Theatre's Production of Romeo and Juliet.
ANDY BROWN (Bob Cratchit) is pleased to be returning for his sixth tour with Nebraska Theatre Caravan but even more to have the opportunity to play Bob. Andy recent played Mr. Bungee in William Finn's A New Brain at the Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre in Chicago. Other favorite roles include C.S. Lewis in Freud's Last Session, David O. Selznick in Moonlight & Magnolias, The Baker in Into the Woods, Gooper in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Moonface Martin in Anything Goes. LOUI CLAGETT (Nell/Crow) is thrilled to be returning with Nebraska Theatre Caravan's A Christmas Carol for the third year in a row! She is a proud recent graduate of The University of Alabama. She currently resides in Atlanta, but has her sights set on Denver! She wishes all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
HANNAH DAY (Lucy) is a recent graduate from Western Carolina University where she recieved a BFA in Musical Theatre. This is her first year with Nebraska Theatre Caravan and she could not be more thrilled to join the ACC family! Some of her most recent roles include Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show, Lily St. Regis in Annie, and Liz in Chicago. Hannah would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support as well as the Nebraska Theatre Caravan for this magnificent opportunity.
SASHA DENENBERG (Tiny Tim) is a 5th grader from Omaha, NE. She is thrilled to be on this tour for the second time. Her mother says Sasha was "born with a passport in her hand". Notable past roles include Annie in Annie Get Your Gun, Bielke in Fiddler on the Roof, Snoopy in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol, and Chip in Beauty and the Beast, for which she recieved two Best Youth Actor nominations. Apart from Acting, singing, and dancing, Sasha plays softball and piano. She loves to play outside and enjoys summer camp in the Colorado Mountains. Currently she is obsessed with the Harry Potter books. If you like the show, clap loudly. As the middle child of 5, with very loud siblings, this is the most attention she ever gets!
BLAKE FOUNTAIN (Christmas Present/Toy Keeper/Charity #2) is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a BFA in Theatre with an emphasis in Musical Theatre. He has been seen recently performing at Hersheypark and touring around the Midwest with Prairie Fire Children's Theatre. His favorite roles are Evillene in The Wiz, Robertson Ay in Mary Poppins, and Abner Dillon in 42nd Street.
ANDY HARVEY (Scrooge) is thrilled to return as Scrooge for this Christmas Season. Andy hails from the Mountain State of WV, and currently resides in the Atlanta area. He has his degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University. He has most recently been seen as Nicky/Trekkie in Avenue Q (Springer Opera House), Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Alluvion Stage Company), and The Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz (Crane River Theatre). Andy likes to paint, write, play guitar, walk in the woods, the more than occasionaly Netflix binge, and making it back to WV to visit and squeeze his nine nieces and nephews! EMMA JOHNSON (Belinda/Fan) is thrilled to spread holiday cheer during her third year touring with Nebraska Theatre Caravan’s A Christmas Carol! Emma has been seen on community stages since kindergarten when she first danced in The Imperial Nutcracker with the Omaha Theater Ballet Company. Some of her favorite theatre roles include Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden, Jane Banks in Mary Poppins, Alice in A Very Important Date, and Little Bo Peep (Dancing Doll) in A Christmas Carol (Mainstage). Emma is a sophomore at Marian High School in Omaha, Nebraska and would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support. KELLY KAPUR (Christmas Past) is honored to join the Nebraska Theatre Caravan family for her first ever national tour! NICK LEMAY (Young Scrooge) is an Omaha native making his debut appearance with the Nebraska Theatre Caravan tour. LeMay is proud to take part in this wonderful, nearly forty-year-old holiday tradition. He recently played the role of Topper in A Christmas Carol at the Omaha Community Playhouse. He was also seen as Cry-baby Walker in Cry-Baby and Stacie Jaxx in Rock of Ages at OCP. LeMay is thankful for the opportunity to bring you Young Scrooge and wishes you the happies of holidays!
JOCELYN LONQUIST (Martha) originally from Pensacola, FL, she is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, AL and currently resides in NYC. Jocelyn has performed in regional houses and theme parks all over the US. A few of her recent roles include Anne in Anne of Green Gables (ArtsPower National Tour), Inga in Young Frankenstein (Charleston Stage), Beth March in Little Women (Red Mountain Theatre), and Cinderella in R&H’s Cinderella (The Prizery). Jocelyn adores this beloved Christmas tale, having performed in several different stage adaptations of Dickens’ classic story over the years, and she thanks Nebraska Theatre Caravan for the opportunity to join the cast of their magnificent Carol for the first time this year!
JON MCDONALD (Mr. Fezziwig/Baker/Charity Man #1) is a graduate of Shorter College in Rome, GA with a BFA in Musical Theatre. This is his tenth year with Nebraska Theatre Caravan. Some of his favorite roles include: Rudolf in Hello Dolly, Brian in The Shadow Box, Captain Andy in Show Boat, and Pap in Big River.
ALEX MERSMAN (Jake) is a proud graduate of North Central College, studying both Vocal Performance and Musical Theatre. This marks his first year with Nebraska Caravan and couldn’t be more thrilled to join this year’s production. A current native of Chicago, Alex has enjoyed working with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Light Opera Works, Fox Valley Repertory, Heartland Festival, Music by the Lake, and most recently enjoyed three years with the Florentine Opera, including Grammy Award winning original cast recordings of Elmer Gantry and Wuthering Heights.
MACKENZIE REIDY (Frances/Child with Sled) is thrilled to be back for her third tour of A Christmas Carol with the Nebraska Theatre Caravan! Some of her favorite roles include: Ursula in Bye Bye Birdie: Young Performers Edition and Winnie Cunningham in To Kill a Mockingbird (Theatre Arts Guild Award). She is a fifth grader and spends her time reading, playing piano, and obsessing over Star Wars. NATALIE RIEGEL (Mrs. Fezziwig/Baker's Wife) is thrilled to be apart of A Christmas Carol! Originally from Alabama, Natalie holds degrees in Musical Theatre and Telecommunications & Film from the University of Alabama. After three years at the Barter Theatre in Virginia, Natalie moved to New York City to continue her acting pursuits. Favorite roles include Ophelia in Hamlet, Charity in Anything Goes, and Maybelle Aarons in Bridge to Terabithia. Love to Mama, Daddy, and Justin. She hopes your Christmas Season is magical!
CARLY SCHNEIDER (Millie) is delighted to come home to the Caravan for the fourth time; previously seen in Little Women as Beth and the 2015 & 2016 tours of A Christmas Carol as Belle. JO-JO STEINE (Chestnut Vendor/Dilber) has appeared in shows with Dallas Theater Center, Shakespeare Dallas, and WaterTower Theater, and this is her first time with Nebraska Theatre Caravan. She graduated from Southern Methodist University in May with a BFA in Theater and a minor in Musical Theater. Her favorite SMU credits include Witch #2 in Macbeth, Blanche Dubois in A Streetcar Named Desire, Waitress/Kit/Shona in Top Girls, and Marcia Cook in Our Lady of 121st Street.
JACOB VALLEROY (Marley/Poulterer) is an alumnus of the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), where he graduated with a Musical Theatre degree. He is very excited to be participating in his first National Tour. SARAH WILLIAMS (Belle) is an Atlanta native and a recent BFA Musical Theatre graduate from Reinhardt University. She is thrilled to be touring with The Nebraska Theatre Caravan. Sarah recently played Kalliope Darkwalker in She Kills Monsters at Out of Box Theatre. She has also worked with the Independent Artists’ Playhouse and Six Flags in Georgia. Some of Sarah’s favorite roles that she played at Reinhardt include Princess Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress, Ophelia in Hamlet, Rosa Bud in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, and Kitty in The Drousy Chaperone.
